Armin Duddek – President

Owner of contact lens company Prolens AG.  Armin has been president of the SBAO since 2001 and the Swiss delegate for ECOO since 2003 as well as being the ECOO immediate past president. In 2012 Armin received the VDCO Optometry Award. He brings considerable experience to the EFCLIN Presidency.

Martina Halsall – Board Member

Martina was elected to the EFCLIN board in 2017.

Tanja Malkus – Secretary

With a strong commercial background in the Pharmaceuticals & Optics industry Tanja brings a wealth of experience to the EFCLIN board.

Michele Cornely – Board Member

Dr. Johannes Pfund – Board Member

Email: hannes@efclin.com  Hannes holds a PhD in physics at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. His scientific work dealt with Shack-Hartmann sensing, testing aspheric optics and interferometry. He is co-founder and president of Optocraft GmbH, a metrology company serving the markets ophthalmology, precision optics, laser and astronomy.
Hannes was elected to the EFCLIN board in 2017.

Peter Vermeulen – Treasurer

Email: peter@efclin.com Peter is the owner and CEO of Jenalens Kontaktlinsen Technologie GmbH and Conta Optic GmbH in Germany.
Jenalens is founded in 1991 as a joint venture between Microlens (The Netherlands) and JenOptik (Germany) and is an independent manufacturer and supplier of RGP and soft custom made contact lenses. Conta Optic, founded in 1964 is seen as one of the first companies in Germany who focussed their business on fitting and production of contact lenses. Conta Optic nowadays is international known as supplier of a full program own brand and private label contact lenses and solutions who are not available on the Internet.
